Malcolm’s financial career started in 1981, as an Independent Financial Adviser in Moorgate, London.

Because of Malcolm’s extensive financial knowledge and skill base, he was asked to consider providing an additional benefit to a company who already had a robust employee benefits package, but felt an “added value” was needed for their employees; “money advice” was the result and KINGMAN was established to fulfill this need. 

“Having spent the last twenty-five years in the world of finance I have witnessed many changes, mostly to the good of the industry; the latter ten years in providing advice to companies on implementing or enhancing employee benefits packages. 

Talking to employees, it seems there are many who find financial planning confusing and believe that unless you have money, there is little need to seek advice.

But we all need help from time to time and “money advice” is a way in which information can be sought, signposting individuals to professional organisations if required and provide an overview of financial services. The ultimate aim is to improve the employee’s understanding of financial matters and assist people in making informed and educated financial decisions which could affect their lifestyle now or in the future”, says Malcolm King, of KINGMAN.
